EAR and ITAR
Licensing Assistance
EAR Licensing
If
it has been determined that your product or technology is
subject to the Department of Commerce's Export Administration
Regulations (EAR), M3 Federal International can help you
identify the applicable Commodity Control List (CCL) number (ECCN)
and then determine if a Commerce License is required for your
export destination.
Unlike items that are subject to ITAR, the majority of items can
either use an exemption or a license might not be needed at all.
If a license is required, M3 Federal International can work with you to
develop the request package, ensuring that all the requirements
are included. The license request will then be submitted on-line
using the Simplified Network Application Process (SNAP-R). Once
the license is received, M3 Federal International can help establish your
recordkeeping and compliance to any reporting requirements.

ITAR Licensing
The
U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
(DDTC) has jurisdiction over imports and exports of items listed
in the Munitions List. These are usually items designed,
developed, or modified for military use.
The DDTC has a number of
license vehicles for temporary and permanent import and
export, as well as, agreements for Defense articles and
technology.
M3
Federal International can assist you in identifying the classification of your
products or services, identify which type of license is needed,
assemble the license request package, and assist your submittal.
Once your license is received, we can explain any provisions,
set up recordkeeping and advise you on reporting requirements.
